Classes
General Information
- Regular classes run from September through April
- Competitive students dance into May
- Proper dance attire must be worn in class.
- Appropriate footwear must be worn. No bare feet please.
- Jazz pants and street clothes are not to be worn in class.
- Ballet sweaters are acceptable.
- Hair must be worn up in a bun, ponytail, French braids, etc.
- For any exam, workshop, hair must be slicked back into a classical bun without bangs.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for class.
- Please phone either the office if your child will be absent from class.
- Please phone or e-mail with any questions or concerns.
- Normally there are four weeks of holiday at Christmas and one week at Spring Break. Classes may break for other holidays held mid-week. Please watch the bulletin boards for changes to schedules.
- There may be some classes cancelled during festivals (April).
- On extreme weather days, classes may be cancelled. Please call the office to confirm classes. The answering machine will indicate if classes are canceled. If the answering machine does not indicate canceled classes, regular classes will presume.
All new information will be posted on the bulletin boards and this web site. Please read the upstairs board and our home page regularly. The spring time especially has a lot of information you will need to know.
