Festival Fees
Divine Dance Academy participates in four (4) festivals per season. Most festivals occur in April – May every season. In 2010, Divine plans to host its own festival; watch for further information as it becomes available.
Typical festival entry fees are as follows for 2010 – 2011 (all prices are per routine, per festival):

Choreography Fees
With the exception of first year students, students MUST participate in Ballet classes to be eligible to compete. First year students may participate in groups for $125.00 per routine.

A FIRST YEAR STUDENT HAS NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE – THIS DOES NOT MEAN FIRST YEAR TO COMPETE. THIS RULE IS INTENDED FOR STUDENTS 8 YEARS OLD AND UNDER.
SOLOS: $300.00 $45 – $65 per routine, per festival
DUETS/TRIOS: $225.00 per person, per routine. $42 – $65 per routine, per festival
GROUPS: $400.00 (unlimited routines) $40 – $65 per routine, per festival

DRESS REHEARSAL FEES: Solos/Duets/Trios – $40.00 each Groups – $35 each

Dress Rehearsal Fees
Dress Rehearsals will be held at the TransCanada Fine Arts Centre in Olds.

Year-End Recital Fees
- All competitive students MUST participate in the Year-End Recital. The Recital is held at the Transcanada Theatre at the Olds Community Learning Campus.
- Each student has five (5) tickets reserved under their name, for $20.00 per ticket (Total $100.00). If you do not need all 5 tickets or require additional tickets, please let the office know.
- While tickets are held for you until one month before the recital, if your payment for your tickets is not received by that date then they may be released to those who require additional tickets.
- Please submit a post-dated cheque for $120.00 to reserve your tickets.
Payment
- All cheques are to be made payable to ‘Divine Dance Academy’.
- Discounts do not apply to competition fees, exam fees, workshop fees or any entry fees.
- **All fees must be paid by cheque, Visa, MasterCard or money order. Please do not pay with cash.**
- NSF Fee: A $40.00 service fee will be applied to all NSF cheques.
